CVA Quick Release Breech Plug for Blackhorn Powder

CVA Quick Release Breech Plug for Blackhorn Powder

The CVA Quick Release Breech Plug (QRBP) represents a significant convenience upgrade for modern muzzleloader shooters. This stainless steel component is specifically engineered to work with Blackhorn powder and other loose powder muzzleloading propellants.

Compatibility

This breech plug fits the following CVA muzzleloader models manufactured in 2010 and later:

• Accura V2
• Optima
• Wolf

Important: This plug does not work with the CVA Apex platform.

Key Features

Quick Release Design — The quick-release mechanism makes breech plug removal and installation straightforward, reducing the time spent on field maintenance and cleaning.

Blackhorn Optimized — While compatible with loose powder propellants, this plug is specifically designed to handle the unique characteristics of Blackhorn powder, a modern muzzleloading propellant that offers superior performance in many shooting conditions.

Stainless Steel Construction — Corrosion-resistant material ensures durability and longevity, even with regular use and exposure to moisture during cleaning.

Maintenance Advantage

One of the most tedious aspects of muzzleloader ownership is cleaning after shooting. The quick-release design of this breech plug simplifies that process considerably, allowing you to access the breech area more easily for thorough cleaning and maintenance.

If you shoot a compatible CVA muzzleloader and use Blackhorn powder, this is a worthwhile upgrade for both performance and convenience.
