North American Arms Bootlegger 22 Magnum
The Bootlegger represents the pinnacle of pocket revolver design—a firearm engineered for those who understand that sometimes the best gun is the one you actually carry.
Key Features
- Caliber: 22 Magnum (22 WMR)
- Barrel Length: 1-5/8 inches
- Finish: Burnt Bronze—a durable, corrosion-resistant coating that resists fingerprints and wear
- Design: Five-shot cylinder with traditional single/double-action trigger
- Size: Truly pocket-sized, measuring just over 4 inches overall
Why the Bootlegger?
This revolver excels as a backup gun or deep-carry option. The 22 Magnum cartridge delivers more velocity and energy than standard 22 Long Rifle ammunition, making it suitable for self-defense in a package small enough to carry anywhere.
The burnt bronze finish provides both aesthetic appeal and practical corrosion resistance. The traditional revolver action requires no safeties to manipulate under stress—simply draw and fire.
Practical Considerations
The Bootlegger's diminutive size makes it ideal for ankle carry, pocket carry, or as a backup to a primary defensive firearm. Its reliability and simplicity have made North American Arms a trusted name among serious shooters for decades.
This is a firearm for those who understand that the best gun is the one you have with you.
