AAC Illusion 9 Direct Thread Suppressor
The Illusion 9 represents a significant advancement in suppressor technology for 9mm pistols. This direct-thread design eliminates the need for a piston assembly, simplifying installation and maintenance while reducing overall length.
Key Features
- Offset Bullet Path Design: The non-centralized bullet path geometry reduces back pressure and improves reliability across a wide range of host pistols
- A.S.A.P. System: Advanced Armament's patent-pending Assured Semi Automatic Performance technology ensures consistent cycling on both standard and suppressor-optimized firearms
- Durable Construction: Stainless steel and aluminum construction with black finish provides corrosion resistance and longevity
- Direct Thread Mounting: Threads directly onto compatible 9mm barrels for a streamlined profile
Performance and Reliability
Unlike earlier suppressor designs, the Illusion 9 incorporates modern engineering principles that accommodate the diverse operating characteristics of contemporary semi-automatic pistols. Whether you're running a standard blowback design or a locked-breech platform, the A.S.A.P. system adapts to your firearm's cycling characteristics.
Ideal For
Shooters seeking a compact, reliable suppressor solution for 9mm pistols without the complexity of piston-based systems. The direct-thread design makes it an excellent choice for dedicated host firearms.
