The Modern 1911 Standard
The Kimber 1911 NXTGEN Pro represents a thoughtful evolution of the classic 1911 platform, chambered in 9mm for reduced recoil and increased magazine capacity. This is a working gun designed for shooters who appreciate traditional 1911 ergonomics but demand modern capabilities.
Key Features
- Optics-Ready Slide: Pre-cut for direct mounting of modern red dot sights, eliminating the need for gunsmithing
- 9mm Chambering: Softer recoil than traditional .45 ACP with higher round count per magazine
- Ambidextrous Safety: Operates smoothly for both right and left-handed shooters
- Tactical Rail: Integrated under-barrel rail for mounting lights or lasers
- Compact-to-Full-Size Hybrid: Shorter slide and barrel than full-size 1911s, full-size grip frame for control and capacity
Built for Purpose
This is not a safe queen. The NXTGEN Pro is engineered for carry, competition, or home defense. The combination of proven 1911 reliability with contemporary features makes it equally at home in the hands of a seasoned shooter or someone making the transition to a more modern platform.
