Savage B22 G: Modern Rimfire Excellence

The Savage B22 G represents a thoughtful evolution in bolt-action rimfire design. This rifle combines proven mechanical principles with ergonomic refinements that make it equally at home in the hands of a young shooter learning fundamentals or an experienced marksman refining technique.

Design and Ergonomics

The walnut-stained hardwood stock features modern checkering on both the fore-end and pistol grip, providing secure purchase without excessive texture. The higher comb and top tang safety allow you to hold the rifle in a naturally aligned position that reduces wrist strain during extended shooting sessions. The target-style vertical pistol grip encourages proper hand placement and control.

Accuracy and Performance

Adjustable AccuTrigger — Savage's proprietary trigger system lets you customize pull weight to your preference, promoting consistent shot placement and faster skill development.

Precision Barrel — The 21-inch carbon steel barrel wears a matte black finish and features a 1-in-16 twist rate optimized for standard 22 Long Rifle ammunition.

10-Round Rotary Magazine — Reliable, detachable magazine design that feeds smoothly and cycles cleanly through the action.

Sights and Mounting

Adjustable iron sights come standard for immediate shooting capability. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, allowing you to add optics as your shooting evolves.
