Design Philosophy
This rifle embodies the principle that quality firearms need not be expensive. The Axis II Pro Western delivers the essentials: a strong, accurate action; a barrel capable of respectable precision; and ergonomics that work naturally for the shooter.
The .308 Winchester cartridge offers versatility. It handles deer and elk with authority, shoots flat enough for practical hunting ranges, and ammunition remains readily available.
Practical Considerations
The 20-inch barrel strikes a balance between velocity and handling. It's short enough for brush hunting and vehicle transport, yet long enough to develop the .308's full potential.
Left-handed shooters will appreciate controls positioned intuitively—safety, magazine release, and bolt handle all fall naturally to hand.
This is a rifle for hunters and shooters who value function over flash.
