DPMS DPM4 AR-15: American-Made Reliability

The DPMS DPM4 represents a straightforward approach to the modern rifle platform. Built with quality components and mil-spec standards throughout, this 5.56 NATO carbine delivers the accuracy and reliability expected from a purpose-built firearm.

Barrel and Gas System

The heart of this rifle is a 16-inch chrome-moly vanadium steel barrel with a 1:7 twist rate, finished with a nitride coating for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The carbine-length gas system keeps the action running smoothly across a wide range of ammunition. A low-profile gas block and A2 flash hider complete the muzzle assembly.

Upper and Lower Receivers

Both upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and machined to mil-spec dimensions. Hard-coat anodizing provides a durable finish that resists wear and corrosion. The upper features a forward assist and dust cover for added functionality.

Bolt Carrier Group

The full-auto profile bolt carrier group uses Carpenter 158 steel for the bolt and 8620 steel for the carrier. The gas key is hardened to USGI specifications, staked, and secured with Grade 8 screws—the mark of quality construction.

Handguard and Controls

A 13.5-inch DPMS M-LOK free-float rail provides mounting flexibility for modern accessories while maintaining accuracy. The mil-spec fire control group, aluminum trigger guard, and 6-position collapsible stock offer familiar controls and adjustability.
