Application Guidelines

Site Preparation:

• Select shaded areas near active deer trails or crossings
• Clear all debris in a 4-foot diameter circle
• Loosen soil once the area is cleared
• Plan for a total site diameter of 10 feet
• Establish two sites per 100 acres

Important Considerations:

• Sandy soils will leach minerals faster than heavy clay soils
• Pour liquid directly onto the prepared site
• Monitor site activity and reapply as needed

One gallon treats multiple sites depending on soil type and application rate. Buck Jam is an efficient way to establish or maintain mineral sites quickly and effectively.
