Why This Design Works
The 1911 platform remains one of the most ergonomic and reliable defensive pistols ever designed. By chambering it in 9mm with dual-stack capacity, Tisas delivers the handling characteristics shooters love with modern ammunition capacity. The compensator addresses one of the 1911's characteristics—a snappy recoil impulse—making this an excellent choice for shooters seeking a classic platform with contemporary performance.
Ideal For
Defensive carry, sport shooting, and anyone seeking a reliable, shootable 1911 in a practical modern configuration.
