Alpha Foxtrot AF1911-Romulus: Modern Compact 1911 Performance
The AF1911-Romulus represents a thoughtful evolution of the classic 1911 platform, scaled down to practical compact dimensions while maintaining the ergonomic and mechanical integrity that has made this design legendary.
Key Features
- Modular Optics System (MOS): Pre-cut for direct mounting of popular red dot sights without additional adapters
- Compact Dimensions: 3.5" ported barrel delivers manageable recoil and enhanced accuracy
- Modern Finish: Durable DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating in Flat Dark Earth provides corrosion resistance and a professional appearance
- 9mm Luger Chambering: Economical, controllable, and practical for both training and defensive use
- High-Capacity Magazines: Includes multiple 20-round magazines, maximizing firepower in a compact package
Design Philosophy
This handgun bridges the gap between traditional 1911 reliability and contemporary tactical requirements. The ported barrel reduces muzzle rise, improving follow-up shot accuracy. The MOS platform allows shooters to integrate modern optics without gunsmithing, making this platform adaptable to evolving shooting disciplines and personal preferences.
Ideal For
Competitive shooters, home defense, and those seeking a modern interpretation of the 1911 in a more manageable size.
