Federal Premium .243 Win 90gr ELD-X Hunting Ammo

Federal Premium .243 Winchester with Hornady ELD-X

Federal Premium has partnered with Hornady to bring you ammunition that combines precision engineering with real-world hunting performance. This .243 Winchester load pairs Federal's quality brass and powders with the proven Hornady ELD-X bullet—a purpose-built hunting projectile that performs when it matters most.

The ELD-X Advantage

The Extremely Low Drag Expanding (ELD-X) bullet represents a significant step forward in hunting ammunition technology:

• Polymer Tip Design: A specially formulated polymer tip resists deformation during flight, maintaining consistent ballistics and enabling reliable expansion even at extreme range
• High Ballistic Coefficient: The streamlined profile cuts through air resistance, delivering flatter trajectories and more retained energy downrange
• Concentric Copper Jacket: Precision-engineered construction ensures uniform expansion and reliable performance across a wide velocity range
• Robust Shank: Internal geometry provides controlled, predictable expansion without fragmentation

Performance Characteristics

This ammunition delivers match-grade accuracy you can trust in the field. The 90-grain ELD-X exits the muzzle at 3,100 feet per second, providing the velocity needed for quick, ethical kills on medium-sized game. Whether you're hunting at 100 yards or stretching shots to extended range, the ELD-X's design ensures dynamic expansion at all practical hunting distances.

Each box contains 20 rounds of carefully quality-controlled ammunition, loaded to Federal's exacting standards.
