Auto Ordnance 1927A-1 Deluxe .45 ACP Carbine
Semi-automatic Thompson reproduction with 16.5" finned barrel, Cutts compensator, blued steel receiver, walnut furniture, and classic sights. Includes 20-round magazine.
Classic Thompson Design, Modern Civilian Configuration
The Auto Ordnance 1927A-1 Deluxe is a faithful semi-automatic reproduction of the legendary Thompson submachine gun, scaled for civilian use and chambered in .45 ACP. This is not a toy or a range novelty—it's a serious rifle that honors the design principles that made the original Thompson famous.
Construction and Handling
The receiver and frame are blued steel, finished in traditional deep blue. The furniture consists of American walnut: a fixed buttstock, pistol grip, and vertical foregrip that give the rifle its unmistakable profile. The 16.5-inch barrel is finned for cooling and fitted with a permanently affixed Cutts compensator, which helps manage recoil and muzzle rise in this powerful cartridge.
Sights and Accuracy
A blade front sight and open adjustable rear sight provide practical target acquisition. These are not precision optics, but they work. The sight picture is familiar to anyone who has handled vintage military rifles.
