Planting Guidelines
This 12.5 lb bag covers approximately 1/4 acre (11,000 sq. ft.). Plant at least 4 weeks before your average first frost, though viable plots can be established closer to frost date. Time planting so a soaking rain occurs within 10 days. Maintain soil pH between 6.0-7.5, and apply 75 lbs of 13-13-13 fertilizer per 1/4 acre unless guided by soil testing. Prepare seedbed by disking and dragging or using glyphosate before planting. Ensure at least 6 hours of daily sunlight for optimal results.
