Domain Overhaul Seed Food Plot Mix 1/4 Acre
Spring or fall food plot blend with buckwheat, triticale, crimson clover, balansa clover, and tillage radish. Attracts deer while improving soil health, suppressing weeds, and breaking compaction.
Domain Overhaul Seed Food Plot Mix
The Overhaul seed blend represents a practical approach to food plot management—one that serves dual purposes without unnecessary complexity. This quarter-acre mix combines five proven species designed to work together for both immediate wildlife attraction and long-term soil enhancement.
What's Included
The blend contains:
- Buckwheat for rapid growth and deer appeal
- Spring triticale for cool-season nutrition
- Crimson clover for nitrogen fixation
- Balansa clover for extended forage availability
- Tillage radish for soil structure improvement
Performance Characteristics
Overhaul is engineered to perform where other plots might struggle. It establishes in adverse soil conditions and handles compacted ground effectively. The mix works year-round—plant in spring for summer attraction or in fall for cool-season grazing.
Soil Building Benefits
Beyond attracting deer, this blend improves your land:
- Suppresses unwanted weeds naturally
- Breaks up soil compaction through deep root penetration
- Fixes atmospheric nitrogen for future crops
- Increases water infiltration and retention
- Mines potassium and phosphorus from deeper soil layers
- Promotes beneficial microbial growth
Overhaul works well as a first food plot or as a rotational crop between primary plantings. One quarter-acre covers approximately 10,890 square feet.
