Girsan MC14T Solution .380 ACP Tip-Up Pistol
The Girsan MC14T Solution is a .380 ACP carry pistol featuring a unique tip-up barrel design that eliminates slide racking, making it ideal for shooters seeking ease of use. With a 13-round magazine capacity, gold-plated steel slide, and aluminum frame with Picatinny rail, it offers both accessibility and modern features.
Girsan MC14T Solution: Simplicity Meets Capability
The MC14T Solution represents a thoughtful approach to pistol design, prioritizing accessibility without sacrificing practical features. This .380 ACP compact carries the hallmarks of sound engineering: simplicity, reliability, and user-centric design.
The Tip-Up Advantage
The defining feature is the tip-up barrel mechanism. Rather than requiring the shooter to manipulate a slide—a motion that demands grip strength and coordination—the barrel tips upward for loading. This design eliminates a significant barrier for shooters with limited hand strength, arthritis, or those new to firearms. Loading and firing transitions from simple to genuinely intuitive.
Safety and Control
- External safety for positive, tactile engagement
- External hammer for traditional control and cocking capability
- Automatic firing pin block for drop safety
- Minimal moving parts reduce complexity and potential points of failure
Practical Specifications
The MC14T chambers .380 ACP, a proven defensive cartridge in a compact platform. The 13-round magazine capacity provides meaningful firepower in a package designed for carry. The gold-plated steel slide and aluminum frame with Picatinny rail balance aesthetics with modern tactical capability—you can mount lights or optics if desired.
The Bottom Line
This is a pistol built for people who want to carry responsibly without wrestling with their firearm. It's an honest design that respects both the shooter and the responsibility of carrying a defensive tool.
