The Holosun SCS Carry: Engineered for the Serious Carry Pistol
The SCS Carry is a purpose-built enclosed reflex sight designed specifically for slim, subcompact carry handguns. It represents a thoughtful solution to the challenge of mounting quality optics on firearms with limited real estate.
Key Features
- Dual Reticle System: 2 MOA green dot for precise aiming, surrounded by a 32 MOA circle for rapid target acquisition
- Solar Charging Technology: Multi-directional light sensors automatically adjust brightness across varying lighting conditions. The rechargeable battery provides an impressive 20,000-hour operational life—potentially indefinite with adequate light exposure
- Versatile Mounting: Direct attachment to Holosun K-cut slides; includes adapter plate for RMSc-cut slides
- Rugged Construction: IPX8 waterproof rating ensures reliability in demanding conditions
- Compact Footprint: Dimensions of 1 x 0.58" x 0.77" keep the sight profile low and snag-free
Why It Matters
For the serious carry shooter, optics have transitioned from novelty to necessity. The SCS Carry bridges the gap between full-size duty optics and the constraints of subcompact pistols. The enclosed design protects the emitter from debris and accidental contact, while the solar charging system eliminates the anxiety of battery failure during critical moments.
This is a sight built for professionals and dedicated civilians who understand that their carry gun must be as reliable as it is concealable.
