VKTR VK-1 Complete Upper Assembly
The VK-1 represents a thoughtful approach to compact upper receiver design. Built around a 13.7-inch barrel with a 12.5-inch handguard, this assembly delivers the balance between maneuverability and sight radius that modern shooters demand.
Key Features
- Barrel & Profile: 13.7-inch barrel finished in Sniper Gray Cerakote with low-profile piston system
- Handguard: 12.5-inch rail system provides ample mounting space without excess length
- Bolt Carrier Group: Precision-engineered with patented cam path for reliable cycling and longevity
- Flash Hider: Hux WRX quick-detach flash hider manages muzzle signature while meeting barrel length requirements
- Mounting: 12 o'clock Picatinny rail for optic and accessory mounting
- Receiver Fit: Thermal-fit design ensures tight tolerances and consistent performance
Design Philosophy
This upper assembly prioritizes shootability in confined spaces without sacrificing accuracy potential. The piston-driven system operates independently of buffer tube dynamics, offering reliability across various shooting conditions. The compact profile makes this upper suitable for home defense, tactical training, or precision work where barrel length restrictions apply.
The Sniper Gray finish provides a professional appearance while offering practical corrosion resistance.
