The Taurus TX-22 Gen 2: Modern Rimfire Excellence
The Taurus TX-22 Gen 2 represents a thoughtful evolution in rimfire pistol design. This full-size .22 LR handgun delivers the accuracy and reliability expected from a quality firearm while remaining accessible to shooters of all experience levels.
Performance Features
Trigger System: The Taurus Performance Trigger System (PTS) provides crisp, predictable trigger control—essential for precision shooting whether you're plinking, training, or competing.
Sighting Options: Fixed white-dot front sight paired with a drift-adjustable rear sight gives you flexibility to zero for your specific shooting needs.
Customization Ready: The MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail accepts modern optics and accessories. The threaded 4.1-inch barrel accommodates suppressors for quieter shooting sessions.
Design and Build
The polymer frame keeps weight manageable at just 17.3 ounces unloaded, while the hard-anodized aluminum slide provides durability. Proprietary slide lightening cuts reduce reciprocating mass without compromising strength.
