The redesigned Axis 2 XP represents a significant step forward in affordable rifle design. Savage has engineered this rifle to deliver genuine out-of-the-box performance without compromise, making it an excellent choice for hunters who demand accuracy without excess expense.

Accuracy and Control

The foundation of this rifle rests on proven design principles:

• User-adjustable AccuTrigger — A crisp, clean trigger break that you can fine-tune to your preference
• Precision button-rifled barrel — Ensures consistent shot placement from the first round
• Thread-in headspacing — Guarantees proper chamber dimensions for reliable feeding and accuracy
• Detachable box magazine — Four-round capacity with smooth, reliable feeding

Ergonomic Excellence

The Axis 2 XP's redesigned ergonomics reflect real-world hunting demands. The updated bolt handle features a sleek, functional design that improves control and comfort, particularly in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather. The enhanced stock incorporates improved texturing for a secure grip, while the ambidextrous palm swells on the pistol grip accommodate shooters of different hand sizes and preferences.

Ready to Hunt

This rifle comes factory-mounted with a 3-9x40mm scope featuring fully multi-coated lenses for superior light transmission and image clarity. Tool-less windage and elevation adjustments allow quick zeroing without additional equipment. The rifle arrives bore-sighted and ready for final field adjustments.
