Savage Axis 2 XP Left-Hand 270 Winchester Rifle

Savage Axis 2 XP Left-Hand Rifle

The Axis 2 XP represents a significant step forward in affordable, reliable hunting rifles. Designed with the left-handed shooter in mind, this rifle combines modern accuracy features with traditional aesthetics that appeal to hunters who value both form and function.

Accuracy and Control

AccuTrigger System: The user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, predictable break that promotes consistent shot placement. This is the kind of trigger control that separates good groups from great ones.

Thread-in Headspacing: Savage's proven headspacing system ensures proper cartridge seating and reliable ignition, shot after shot.

Ergonomic Bolt Handle: The redesigned bolt handle features a sleek, modern profile that provides superior control and comfort—especially critical when operating in adverse weather or cold conditions.

Stock and Handling

The classic walnut stock delivers the aesthetic appeal hunters expect from a traditional rifle. Laser-cut stippling on the pistol grip and forend provides genuine traction without compromising the wood's natural beauty. The left-hand configuration ensures natural, intuitive operation for southpaw shooters.

Optics Ready

This combo package includes a factory-mounted and bore-sighted 3-9x40 scope with fully multi-coated lenses. Tool-less windage and elevation adjustments mean you can fine-tune your zero in the field without special tools. Two Weaver-style bases provide flexibility for future scope changes.
