The Browning Citori 825 Sporting: Built for Excellence
The Citori 825 Sporting represents Browning's commitment to delivering a shotgun that performs equally well in the sporting clays arena and the hunting field. This over-and-under design combines proven engineering with modern refinements to create a shotgun that responds to the demands of serious shooters.
Design and Handling
The 30-inch barrels feature a matte blued finish with ventilated top and side ribs that promote consistent cooling during extended shooting sessions. The low-profile silver nitride receiver maintains the classic Citori profile while reducing glare and providing durability. The Grade III/IV black walnut stock, finished in gloss oil, provides both aesthetic appeal and reliable grip in varied conditions.
Comfort and Control
Recoil Management: The Inflex II recoil pad significantly reduces felt recoil, allowing shooters to maintain focus and accuracy through multiple rounds.
Ergonomic Features:
- Fire Lite 2 mechanical trigger system for crisp, consistent letoff
- Gold-plated trigger with silver nitride trigger guard
- Palm swell design for natural hand positioning
- Cut checkering at 20 lines per inch for secure grip
Sighting and Accuracy
The HiViz Pro-Comp front sight and ivory mid-bead provide clear sight pictures in varying light conditions. These sights are particularly valuable during competitive shooting where quick target acquisition matters.
Versatility Through Chokes
The Invector-DS extended choke system includes five tubes: Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Skeet. This range allows you to optimize patterns for everything from tight clay targets to open-field hunting scenarios. A T-wrench is included for easy choke changes.
