The Modern Defensive Carbine
The Kel-Tec SUB2000 Gen 3 Defender represents a thoughtful approach to the modern defensive rifle. This semi-automatic 9mm carbine prioritizes portability without sacrificing capability—a philosophy that appeals to serious shooters who value practicality.
Design and Functionality
The defining feature of the SUB2000 is its ability to fold completely in half, transforming a full-length carbine into a compact package suitable for vehicle storage, backpacking, or emergency preparedness. The rotating forend ensures your optics remain zeroed after folding and unfolding, eliminating the frustration of constant re-zeroing.
