BSA Optix 3-9x40mm Hunting Rifle Scope with BDC-8
Versatile 3-9x40 hunting scope featuring fully multi-coated optics, one-piece aluminum construction, and BSA's BDC-8 reticle. Waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof with included Weaver rings.
BSA Optix Hunting Series Rifle Scope
The BSA Optix represents a solid choice for hunters seeking reliable magnification and optical clarity without unnecessary complexity. This 3-9x40 configuration strikes an excellent balance between light-gathering capability and field of view—ideal for medium-range hunting across varied terrain.
Optical Performance
Fully multi-coated lenses deliver bright, clear images in changing light conditions. The 40mm objective lens gathers sufficient light for early morning and late afternoon hunting without the added weight and bulk of larger objectives. The fast-focus eyepiece allows quick image sharpening, essential when game appears unexpectedly.
Mechanical Design
The scope features:
- One-piece aluminum tube construction for superior rigidity and durability
- Low-profile zero-reset turrets that won't snag on brush or pack straps
- 1/4 MOA click adjustments for precise windage and elevation corrections
- 100-yard parallax setting appropriate for typical hunting distances
Protection & Reliability
Fully waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof—this scope handles the demands of field hunting. The sealed construction protects internal optics from moisture and temperature extremes.
The BDC-8 Reticle
BSA's BDC-8 reticle provides holdover points calibrated for common hunting cartridges, allowing quick aim adjustments at extended ranges without dialing turrets.
