Fiocchi CovertX: Engineered for Concealed Carry

The Fiocchi CovertX line represents a thoughtful approach to defensive ammunition for the serious concealed carry practitioner. This 45 ACP load combines proven ballistic principles with modern manufacturing to deliver reliable performance when it matters most.

Projectile Design

Each 230-grain Jacketed Hollow Point features:

• Precut serrations in a lead-alloy core for controlled fragmentation
• Heavy copper jacket engineered for reliable expansion and penetration
• Proprietary design ensuring consistent performance across different barrel lengths

Performance Characteristics

The CovertX load is optimized for the realities of defensive shooting:

• Muzzle velocity: 875 fps—adequate power without excessive recoil
• Short-barrel optimization: Designed to perform reliably in compact handguns while remaining robust enough for full-size platforms
• Controlled expansion: The precut serrations and heavy jacket work together to ensure predictable terminal performance

Practical Advantages

This ammunition addresses the needs of concealed carry shooters who demand reliability without compromise. The 45 ACP's proven stopping potential, combined with Fiocchi's manufacturing standards, provides confidence in everyday carry. Each box contains 20 rounds—practical for training and carry rotation.
