CCI GamePoint 17 HMR 20gr Jacketed Hollow Point

CCI GamePoint 17 HMR Ammunition

CCI has engineered the GamePoint line specifically for the small-game hunter who demands both accuracy and respect for the game. This 17 HMR load represents a thoughtful balance between terminal performance and meat preservation—a consideration that separates serious hunters from casual shooters.

Key Features

• Dimple-Tip Design: The proprietary dimple-tip bullet expands on impact like a centerfire big-game round, delivering maximum energy transfer to small targets
• Minimal Meat Damage: Engineered to create clean, efficient kills while preserving edible portions
• Ballistic Performance: 20-grain jacketed soft point at 2375 fps with 250 ft-lbs of muzzle energy
• Accuracy: Sub-MOA performance for precise shot placement on small game
• Practical Packaging: 50-round box with reusable plastic dispenser that meters five cartridges at a time
• Reliable Priming: CCI's sure-fire priming system ensures consistent ignition

Practical Considerations

The 17 HMR has earned its reputation as a flat-shooting, accurate small-game cartridge. This load's 20-grain bullet weight provides retained velocity and deeper penetration than lighter alternatives, making it suitable for hunting at extended ranges where precision matters.

The dimple-tip construction represents CCI's understanding that hunters value both effectiveness and efficiency. Clean kills mean less tracking, less waste, and greater respect for the animal.

Warning: Do not use in semi-automatic firearms without consulting your firearms manufacturer. Use only in modern firearms in good condition marked for 17 HMR cartridges.
