Carlsons Long Beard Turkey Choke Tube for Browning 20 Gauge
This ported choke tube represents the pinnacle of turkey hunting performance when paired with Winchester Long Beard ammunition. Carlsons has engineered this tube specifically to maximize the potential of Shot-Lok Technology found in Long Beard loads, creating a combination that delivers devastating downrange effectiveness.
Key Features
- Caliber & Fit: 20-gauge, fits Browning Invector Plus shotguns (.568 diameter)
- Construction: 17-4 stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance
- Design: Extended parallel section throws tighter, denser patterns with reduced pellet deformation
- Performance: Shortened shot string minimizes flyers for cleaner, more consistent patterns
- Range Advantage: 10% greater penetration over standard lead shot beyond 50 yards
Why This Choke Works
The extended parallel section keeps pellets together longer, allowing nearly perfectly round shot to exit the barrel. This engineering produces the tight, long-range patterns essential for ethical turkey hunting at extended distances. The ported design helps manage recoil while maintaining pattern integrity.
