Winchester XPR Extreme SR 400 Legend 20" Rifle
Winchester's XPR Extreme SR in 400 Legend delivers precision and reliability with a 20-inch spiral-fluted barrel, Mossy Oak Bottomland composite stock, and Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish. Threaded for suppressors and ready for optics.
Winchester XPR Extreme SR: Purpose-Built for Modern Hunting
The Winchester XPR Extreme SR represents a significant evolution in bolt-action rifle design, combining proven engineering with contemporary features that serious hunters demand.
Barrel and Action
The 20-inch spiral-fluted barrel features a recessed target crown and is threaded (11/16"-24) to accept a suppressor, giving you flexibility in how you configure your rifle. The barrel wears a durable Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish that resists corrosion and wear. Winchester's button-rifled steel construction ensures consistent accuracy across the rifle's service life.
The machined steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optics mounting, eliminating the need for gunsmithing. The bolt features nickel Teflon coating for smooth operation and corrosion resistance, while the bolt unlock button provides intuitive handling.
Stock and Ergonomics
The composite stock combines lightweight construction with the proven Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage pattern—ideal for woodland and mixed terrain hunting. Textured grip panels provide positive control in wet or cold conditions, and the Inflex 1 recoil pad reduces felt recoil while maintaining a secure fit.
Trigger and Magazine
The MOA Trigger System delivers a clean, predictable break without excessive take-up or creep. The detachable box magazine allows quick ammunition changes and simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
The Bottom Line
The XPR Extreme SR in 400 Legend is engineered for hunters who value accuracy, reliability, and modern features. Whether you're pursuing deer, elk, or other game, this rifle delivers the performance you need in a package that handles like a dream.
