Kimber 1911 DS Warrior: Modern Power in a Classic Platform
The Kimber 1911 DS Warrior represents a thoughtful evolution of the venerable 1911 design, chambered in the formidable 10mm cartridge. This is not a gun for the timid, nor should it be.
Key Features
- Caliber & Capacity: 10mm with 15 and 18-round magazine options
- Barrel Length: 5-inch match-grade barrel for accuracy and velocity
- Optics Ready: Milled slide accepts modern red dot sights
- Finish: Flat Dark Earth for durability and low-light visibility
- Controls: Ambidextrous safety and slide stop for versatile operation
- Sights: Fixed tritium night sights for reliable target acquisition
Design Philosophy
The 1911 platform has proven itself across more than a century of service. The DS Warrior honors that legacy while embracing contemporary requirements. The optics-ready slide allows shooters to mount their preferred red dot without compromise, while the 10mm chambering delivers the stopping power serious defensive shooters demand.
Practical Considerations
This is a full-sized pistol designed for serious use. The 10mm generates substantial recoil—shooters should train accordingly. The included magazines provide flexibility for different mission profiles. Whether for home defense, sport shooting, or professional use, the Kimber 1911 DS Warrior delivers proven reliability with modern capability.
