Charles Daly 601 Semi-Auto 20-Gauge Shotgun
The Charles Daly 601 is a reliable semi-automatic 20-gauge shotgun chambered for 3-inch shells. Its Mossy Oak Bottomlands camouflage finish and manageable recoil make it ideal for hunters seeking a lighter, more controllable option.
The Charles Daly 601: Refined Shotgun Engineering
The Charles Daly 601 semi-automatic shotgun represents a thoughtful approach to shotgun design. Chambered in 20-gauge with a 3-inch chamber, this firearm delivers the performance hunters expect while maintaining the handling characteristics that make shooting enjoyable.
Key Features
- Gauge & Chamber: 20-gauge, 3-inch chamber
- Barrel: 26-inch barrel
- Finish: Mossy Oak Bottomlands camouflage
- Action: Semi-automatic
- Recoil Management: Moderate recoil impulse suitable for extended shooting sessions
Design Philosophy
The 601's semi-automatic action cycles reliably across a range of ammunition loads. The 26-inch barrel strikes a balance between sight radius and maneuverability in the field. The Mossy Oak Bottomlands camouflage pattern provides effective concealment in mixed terrain environments.
Practical Considerations
This shotgun appeals to shooters seeking a lighter alternative to 12-gauge firearms without sacrificing effectiveness. The 20-gauge platform delivers sufficient energy for upland game and waterfowl while reducing fatigue during extended hunting days. The semi-automatic action reduces felt recoil compared to pump or break-action designs, making it accessible to shooters of varying experience levels.
Whether you're introducing someone to shotgun hunting or seeking a dependable field companion, the Charles Daly 601 merits consideration.
