The Crickett is a manual cocking, single-shot bolt-action rifle. Its simplicity is intentional. With no magazine to manage and only one round at a time, the shooter focuses entirely on the essentials: sight picture, trigger control, and follow-through.
The safety system features a rebounding firing pin that is automatically blocked to prevent accidental discharge. This is genuine protection, not theater.
