Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Compact 350 Legend

A Rifle Built for Accuracy and Value

The Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Compact represents decades of rifle engineering excellence in an affordable, purpose-built package. Starting with a proven Howa two-lug push-feed action, Weatherby engineers incorporated signature safety features including a fully shrouded bolt and three gas ports on the bolt body—both designed to protect the shooter in the unlikely event of an ammunition failure.

Precision Engineering

The cold hammer-forged, 20-inch bead-blasted barrel delivers Sub-MOA accuracy right out of the box. This manufacturing method produces barrels with superior longevity compared to traditional cut-rifled alternatives. The one-piece forged and machined receiver features an integral recoil lug for maximum strength and structural integrity.

Shooter-Friendly Features

• Adjustable Length of Pull: Removable stock spacers allow you to customize the fit from 12.5 to 13 inches—perfect for growing shooters or those with shorter frames
• Match-Quality Two-Stage Trigger: Crisp, predictable break for consistent accuracy
• Fluted Bolt Body: Reduces friction and operates smoothly even in harsh field conditions
• M-16 Style Extractor: Provides reliable purchase on the cartridge rim for consistent extraction
• Three-Position Safety: Allows you to work the action while the safety remains engaged
• Low-Density Recoil Pad: Advanced material significantly reduces felt recoil

Stock and Handling

The Monte Carlo synthetic stock is lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant. The one-piece trigger guard with hinged floorplate provides easy access to unfired cartridges. This is a rifle that handles the rigors of hunting and sport shooting without compromise.

The Right Choice

Whether you're introducing a young shooter to the sporting life or seeking an accurate, affordable rifle for yourself, the Vanguard Synthetic Compact delivers genuine Sub-MOA performance at a price that makes sense.
