Traditions Pursuit XT Muzzleloader
The Pursuit XT represents a significant step forward in modern muzzleloading technology. Built on a proven platform, this rifle combines accuracy, reliability, and user-friendly features that appeal to both experienced hunters and those new to the sport.
Barrel and Accuracy
The 26-inch chromoly steel barrel is ultralight and tapered for reduced weight without sacrificing strength. The VAPR 1:24 twist rate is faster than traditional designs, providing superior bullet stabilization across a broader range of projectiles. This flexibility means you can experiment with different bullet weights and styles to find what works best for your hunting situation.
Ignition and Trigger System
The Pursuit XT uses standard 209 shotgun primers for reliable ignition. The Elite XT trigger system delivers a crisp, consistent pull with a rebounding hammer and manual cross-block safety—features that serious shooters demand.
Loading and Operation
Quick-T Ramrod Handle: This innovative design functions as both a palm saver and T-handle, making loading more comfortable and efficient. The screw-in brass jag allows the ramrod to serve double duty as a cleaning rod.
Speed Load System: Works seamlessly with both loose and pelletized powder, giving you flexibility in your powder choice.
Accelerator Breech Plug: Supports fast, reliable ignition and easy maintenance.
Comfort and Control
The Quick Relief recoil pad reduces felt recoil, making extended shooting sessions more enjoyable. The LT-1 alloy frame keeps overall weight manageable while maintaining structural integrity.
Finish and Aesthetics
A premium Cerakote barrel finish resists corrosion and wear. The Mossy Oak Break-Up Country synthetic stock provides excellent camouflage for hunting while being durable and weather-resistant.
Included Scope
The rifle comes equipped with a 3-9x40 scope featuring a duplex reticle—a proven design that works in various lighting conditions. This scope is specifically matched to the rifle for optimal performance.
The Pursuit XT is a complete, ready-to-hunt package that delivers the accuracy and reliability modern hunters expect.
