Traditions Retractable Brass Nipple Pick
Muzzleloader maintenance demands proper tools, and this retractable nipple pick from Traditions delivers practical functionality for in-line rifle ignition systems.
Key Features
- Brass construction provides durability and corrosion resistance
- Push-up slide mechanism extends the pick at an optimal angle
- Angled design reaches difficult-to-access nipple areas on in-line rifles
- Retractable design keeps the pick protected during storage and transport
Purpose and Use
The nipple pick is essential for routine muzzleloader maintenance. It removes fouling, debris, and obstructions from the nipple area—critical for reliable ignition. The angled extension allows you to work in tight spaces where a straight pick would be awkward or impossible to use effectively.
Construction
Built from brass, this tool resists corrosion from black powder residue and cleaning solvents. The push-up slide mechanism is straightforward and reliable, requiring no complex operation. Simply push up to extend the pick, and retract it for safe storage.
Whether you're a dedicated muzzleloader enthusiast or new to black powder shooting, this nipple pick belongs in your maintenance kit.
