Magpul MAG317 Enhanced Rubber Buttpad
Magpul's Enhanced Rubber Buttpad upgrades AR-platform stocks with improved shoulder contact and recoil reduction through thicker, vented construction.
Fits: Magpul ACS, Magpul ACS-L, Magpul CTR, Magpul STR
Enhanced Comfort and Control
The Magpul Enhanced Rubber Buttpad is a purpose-built replacement pad designed to improve your shooting experience on AR-platform rifles. Its thicker, vented rubber construction provides better shoulder purchase and measurably reduces felt recoil—a meaningful upgrade for extended shooting sessions or high-round-count training days.
Broad Compatibility
This buttpad fits a wide range of Magpul stocks, including:
- CTR and MOE Carbine Mil-Spec stocks
- Original UBR stocks
- All STR, ACS-L, and ACS models
- Commercial-Spec MOE/CTR stocks (with minor limitations)
Important Note: This pad is not compatible with the MOE Fixed Carbine Stock. On commercial-spec receiver extensions, the extended, slanted back design may prevent use of the fully collapsed position.

All necessary mounting hardware is included for straightforward installation. No gunsmithing required.
