The MK12 Special Purpose Rifle represents the pinnacle of modern sporting rifle design. Built on a foundation of military-specification components and refined through decades of operational experience, this rifle delivers the accuracy and reliability demanded by serious marksmen.

Barrel and Gas System

At the heart of this rifle lies an 18-inch chrome moly vanadium barrel cold hammer-forged with a 1:7 twist rate. The cold hammer forging process ensures precise chamber-to-bore alignment, while the salt bath nitride finish provides exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. The rifle-length direct impingement gas system operates with a low-profile gas block precision-machined from hardened steel, delivering reliable cycling under all conditions.

Receiver and Controls

Both upper and lower receivers are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with Type III hard coat anodizing for maximum durability. The lower receiver features an enhanced flared magazine well for reliable feeding and a rear receiver QD swivel attachment point. The upper receiver includes indexing marks and M4 feed ramps for smooth operation.

Trigger and Handling

The Geissele SSA1 two-stage trigger provides a clean, predictable break that enhances accuracy and control. The rifle ships with a GRIP-N-RIP charging handle and an M16-profile bolt carrier group, both properly staked and tested to military specifications.

Handguard and Accessories

The 12-inch M-LOK handguard offers multiple mounting points for optics, lights, and other tactical accessories. The Daniel Defense flash suppressor threads onto the muzzle at 1/2x28 TPI, reducing muzzle signature while maintaining a low profile.

Ergonomics and Comfort

The rifle features a glass-filled polymer pistol grip with soft touch overmolding for comfortable, secure handling. The six-position receiver extension allows shooters to dial in the perfect length of pull.
