Performance
Fixed-blade broadheads like the Montec offer several advantages for crossbow hunters. The rigid blade design eliminates the variables associated with mechanical heads, ensuring consistent performance shot after shot. The cut-on-contact tip initiates penetration immediately upon impact, while the three-blade geometry creates a devastating wound channel.
The 1-1/8-inch cutting diameter provides excellent blood trail visibility and quick, ethical harvests. This broadhead is particularly effective when paired with modern crossbows that deliver sufficient kinetic energy to maximize penetration.
