Enhanced Comfort and Control
The Magpul PRS Extended Rubber Buttpad is a straightforward upgrade for shooters seeking a longer length of pull. This 0.80-inch buttpad replaces your stock's standard pad, extending your rifle's reach by approximately 0.50 inches—a meaningful adjustment for shooters with longer arms or those wearing heavier clothing during cold-weather shooting.
Compatibility and Installation
Designed for use with:
- PRS AR-15/M16 stocks
- PRS AR-10/SR-25 stocks
- MOE Rifle Stock
- MOE Fixed Carbine Stock
The buttpad mounts using your existing hardware—no gunsmithing required. Installation takes minutes.
Why It Matters
Proper length of pull is fundamental to consistent shooting. Too short, and you'll struggle with sight picture and recoil management. Too long, and you'll fight the gun's ergonomics. This extension allows you to dial in the fit that works for your body and shooting style, whether you're running a precision rifle or a tactical carbine.
The rubber construction provides a secure, non-slip surface for shouldering your rifle in any condition.
