Magpul ACS Carbine Stock: Storage Meets Stability
The Magpul ACS (Adaptable Carbine/Storage) Mil-Spec Model represents a thoughtful evolution in buttstock design. This drop-in replacement is engineered specifically for AR-15 and M4 carbines using mil-spec sized receiver extension tubes, making it a practical upgrade for shooters who demand both functionality and reliability.
Smart Storage Design
What sets the ACS apart is its integrated storage capability. The stock features:
- Dual rear-accessible battery storage tubes with water-resistant construction
- Integral storage compartment in the butt of the stock for additional gear
- Multiple options for carrying essential items without external pouches
Stability and Control
Beyond storage, the ACS prioritizes weapon handling:
- Anti-snag release latch prevents accidental activation during tactical movement
- Supplemental friction lock system minimizes excessive stock movement for enhanced accuracy
- 0.30-inch thick rubber butt-pad provides positive shoulder purchase that resists slippage even when wearing body armor or modular gear
Made in the USA
The ACS is manufactured to Magpul's exacting standards, ensuring consistent quality and durability. The Olive Drab finish complements modern tactical setups while maintaining a professional appearance.
Whether you're building a duty rifle, competition platform, or home defense carbine, the ACS delivers practical innovation without compromise.
