Magpul MS3 Gen2 Multi-Mission Sling System
The MS3 Gen2 represents the evolution of a sling system born from real-world tactical experience. Magpul designed this platform to solve a fundamental problem: operators need a weapon-retention solution that adapts to the mission, not the other way around.
Convertible Design
The MS3 transitions seamlessly between one-point and two-point configurations. Deploy in one-point mode for maximum maneuverability during direct action. Switch to two-point for stability during precision shooting or sustained operations. The conversion happens without tools or complicated adjustments.

Mounting Compatibility
The MS3 works with Magpul ASAP plates, RSA, MSA, and Forward Sling Mounts for front attachment. Rear mounting accommodates the ASAP plate and SGA Receiver Sling Mount. The system also accepts standard QD sling swivels and snap-hook style sling loops (3/8" minimum inner diameter; 9/16" or larger recommended for full range of motion).
Tactical Advantages
Used with the optional Magpul ASAP plate, the MS3 enables seamless transitions between shooting positions without binding or fouling. The sling concept allows switching from weapon shoulder to reaction shoulder for shooting around obstacles or minimizing exposure. In case of injury to the operator's shoulder, arm, or hand, the MS3 keeps the weapon in the fight.
