Magpul MOE Carbine Stock Mil-Spec Gray

Magpul MOE Carbine Stock - Mil-Spec Model

The MOE (Magpul Original Equipment) Carbine Stock represents thoughtful engineering applied to one of the AR platform's most essential components. This is a purpose-built drop-in replacement buttstock designed specifically for AR-15 and M16 carbines equipped with mil-spec sized receiver extension tubes.

Design Philosophy

Magpul engineered the MOE Stock around the principle of light, fast action. The streamlined A-frame profile accomplishes two critical functions: it eliminates snag points that can catch on gear or clothing during weapon manipulation, and it shields the release latch from accidental activation—a feature that matters when you're moving quickly or operating in tight spaces.

Practical Features

• Drop-in compatibility with mil-spec receiver extension tubes (tube not included)
• Stealth Gray finish that blends with modern tactical equipment
• 0.30-inch thick rubber butt-pad engineered for positive shoulder purchase
• Secure purchase maintained even when wearing body armor or modular gear
• Made in the USA to Magpul's exacting standards

Why This Matters

A quality buttstock is the interface between you and your rifle. The MOE Stock's robust rubber pad prevents slippage during recoil, ensuring consistent cheek weld and sight picture. The streamlined profile keeps your rifle responsive and snag-free—essential whether you're training, competing, or relying on your AR for serious purposes.

This is the kind of equipment that works reliably, shot after shot, without demanding your attention.
