Sierra GameKing 6.5mm 140-Grain Spitzer Boat Tail

Sierra GameKing 6.5mm 140-Grain Spitzer Boat Tail Bullets

For generations, serious hunters and marksmen have turned to Sierra for one reason: uncompromising accuracy and ballistic performance. The GameKing line represents the pinnacle of Sierra's hunting bullet design, engineered specifically for hunters who demand excellence at distance.

Design and Performance

The GameKing's boat tail design is the key to its exceptional long-range performance. The streamlined, tapered base dramatically reduces aerodynamic drag, which translates directly into:

• Higher retained velocity downrange
• Flatter trajectory for easier holdover calculations
• Reduced wind drift in challenging conditions
• Greater striking energy at impact

Ideal Applications

This is the premier long-range hunting bullet for the 6.5mm platform. The 140-grain weight provides adequate mass for medium and heavy game while maintaining the velocity advantage that makes 6.5mm cartridges so effective. The bullet truly shines in open country—wide prairie, mountainous terrain, and other environments where long shots and difficult conditions are the norm.

The GameKing performs admirably from any 6.5mm cartridge with moderate powder capacity, but reaches its full potential when loaded to maximum safe velocities in magnum rifles. Whether you're shooting a 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, or 6.5-284 Norma, these bullets deliver the accuracy and energy you need when it counts.
