Premium Long-Range Performance
Speer's boat-tail rifle bullets represent seven decades of ammunition component expertise. The 1624 model in .284" diameter and 130-grain weight is engineered specifically for shooters who demand extended range and precision on medium-sized game.
Design Features
Boat-Tail Profile The tapered heel design flattens your trajectory and reduces wind drift—critical advantages when shooting at distance. This geometry improves ballistic coefficient, meaning your bullets retain velocity and energy downrange.
Jacketed Construction Traditional jacketed design ensures consistency and dependability. The profiled jacket optimizes flight characteristics for superior accuracy, whether you're hunting, target shooting, or practicing.
Performance on Game
These bullets are built for hunters. Upon impact, they expand rapidly to deliver quick, clean kills. The combination of controlled expansion and penetration makes them suitable for medium game at extended ranges.
