The ProTac 2L-X represents a thoughtful approach to everyday carry illumination. This 500-lumen tactical light delivers serious performance in a compact package measuring just 5.14 inches.
Dual Fuel Flexibility
One of the ProTac 2L-X's strongest features is its fuel versatility. The light ships with two CR123A lithium batteries and will run on them reliably. However, if you prefer rechargeable convenience, it also accepts a single Streamlight SL-B26 protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery. This flexibility means you can choose your power source based on your mission requirements.
Output and Performance
High Mode: 500 lumens with 6,800 candela and a 165-meter beam reach. Runtime is 2.75 hours on CR123A batteries or 3.25 hours on the rechargeable battery.
Low Mode: 40 lumens with 600 candela and a 49-meter beam. Extended runtime of 30 hours on either battery type makes this mode ideal for sustained operations.
Strobe Mode: Provides signaling or disorienting capability with 3.25 to 4.5 hours of runtime.
User-Selectable Programming
The TEN-TAP programming system lets you choose from three different operational modes:
- High/Strobe/Low
- High Only
- Low/High
This flexibility allows you to configure the light for your specific needs without unnecessary features.
Construction and Durability
The ProTac 2L-X features Type II Military Specification anodized aluminum construction that resists abrasion and corrosion. Solid-state power regulation maintains maximum light output throughout the battery's life. The light is rated IPX7 waterproof to one meter for 30 minutes and has been impact-tested to two meters.
