Warne Maxima M888/875M Weatherby Mark V Base Set

Warne Maxima Steel Scope Bases for Weatherby Mark V

These two-piece Maxima bases from Warne represent a proven approach to mounting optics on your Weatherby Mark V Standard rifle. Built on the time-tested Weaver design platform, they deliver the reliability and precision you need for consistent shooting.

Key Features

• Full-width recoil slots in each base provide maximum bearing surface for Warne ring recoil keys
• Low-profile design allows you to use iron sights when optics are removed or switched out
• Weaver-compatible design works with a wide range of scope rings and mounting systems
• Secure mounting with Torx-style T-15 socket cap screws (25 in/lb. torque recommended)
• Fits Weatherby Mark V Standard 6-lug action, including .240 Weatherby Magnum

Why These Bases Matter

The full-width recoil slot design is not merely cosmetic—it's functional engineering. By maximizing the bearing surface between the base and your scope ring's recoil key, these bases distribute recoil forces more evenly, reducing the risk of scope shift and improving zero retention shot after shot.

The low-profile construction means you're not locked into magnified optics. Switch to Warne quick-disconnect rings, and you can move between open sights and your scope while maintaining return-to-zero capability.

Note: These bases are designed specifically for Weatherby Mark V Standard rifles and do not fit Vanguard models.
