Mossberg 24" Slug Barrel for Remington 870
This purpose-built slug barrel transforms your Remington 870 into a dedicated slug gun. Manufactured by Mossberg, it delivers the accuracy and reliability serious hunters demand.
Key Features
- 24-inch barrel length — optimal balance of sight radius and maneuverability
- Adjustable rifle sights — precise aiming for slug hunting at extended ranges
- Cylinder bore — patterns slugs effectively without choke restrictions
- Matte blued finish — durable, low-glare coating that resists corrosion
- Remington 870 compatible — direct fit for standard 870 models
Important Compatibility Note
This barrel is designed for standard Remington 870 12-gauge shotguns. It is not compatible with 870 models chambered in 3.5" Magnum. Verify your shotgun's chamber length before ordering.
The Slug Hunting Advantage
Swapping to a dedicated slug barrel gives you superior accuracy compared to shooting slugs through a bird barrel. The adjustable sights allow you to dial in your point of impact, and the cylinder bore ensures consistent patterns downrange. This is a practical, cost-effective upgrade for any 870 owner serious about slug season.
