Important Break-In Information

New Glock magazines require a brief break-in period. The spring and follower are manufactured to exacting tolerances, which means:

• Load the magazine with 9 rounds initially, leaving the 10th round out
• Allow the magazine to sit for several days so the spring can compress and set
• Cycle the magazine from full to empty multiple times to accelerate the break-in process
• After this period, the magazine will load and function smoothly

This is normal and does not indicate a defect. Once broken in, you'll have a magazine that delivers the reliable performance Glock is known for.
