The Trijicon ACOG: Proven Performance in All Light
The Trijicon ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) represents decades of refinement in tactical optics design. This 4x32 fixed-power scope combines the precision of traditional distance marksmanship with the speed required for close-quarters engagement—a balance that has made it the choice of professional shooters worldwide.
Illumination System
The ACOG features dual illumination technology:
- Fiber optic gathering system provides automatic daylight brightness adjustment
- Tritium illumination ensures the reticle remains visible in low-light and nighttime conditions
- No batteries required—the scope remains combat-ready in any environment
Reticle Design and Ballistics
The red chevron reticle is purpose-built for the .223/5.56 cartridge:
- Zeroed at the chevron tip for 100 meters
- Bullet drop compensated out to 800 meters
- Chevron base width of 5.53 MOA enables range estimation on silhouette targets
- Provides rapid target acquisition while maintaining precision at distance
Build Quality
Every component was selected for a single purpose: maximizing hit potential in all lighting conditions. The scope features a matte black hardcoat anodized finish for durability and reduced glint. The TA51 flattop mount is included, designed for direct attachment to AR-platform receivers and M16-family rifles.
