Barnes Tipped TSX .308 180gr Boat Tail Bullets

Premium Copper Hunting Bullets for Serious Reloaders

Barnes Tipped TSX (TTSX) bullets represent the pinnacle of modern reloading ammunition for hunters who demand maximum performance on large game. These .308 diameter, 180-grain projectiles combine proven TSX technology with a polymer ballistic tip for superior long-range performance.

Key Features

• Polymer Ballistic Tip: Boosts ballistic coefficient while initiating controlled expansion upon impact
• 100% Copper Construction: Delivers consistent, reliable performance with excellent accuracy potential
• Re-engineered Nose Cavity: Engineered for faster expansion and devastating terminal performance
• Four Razor-Sharp Petals: Expand reliably to approximately 1.5 times original diameter for maximum energy transfer
• California Certified Nonlead: Meets all regulatory requirements for hunting in restricted areas

Performance Characteristics

These bullets excel at extended ranges where their enhanced ballistic coefficient provides a flatter trajectory and better wind resistance than conventional designs. The polymer tip initiates expansion immediately upon impact, while the copper construction ensures the bullet holds together through heavy bone and muscle.

Reloading Recommendations

For optimal accuracy, seat these bullets between 0.030 and 0.070 inches off the lands, adjusting based on your specific rifle's chamber characteristics. Start with published load data and work up carefully to find your rifle's preferred seating depth.

The Bottom Line

When one shot is all you get, Barnes Tipped TSX bullets deliver the terminal performance serious hunters demand. Fifty bullets per box.
