The Ruger Precision Rimfire represents a significant step forward in affordable precision rifle design. This 22LR rifle brings competition-grade features to shooters who demand accuracy without the premium price tag of centerfire precision rifles.

Chassis and Stock Design

The foundation of this rifle is a molded, one-piece glass-filled nylon chassis paired with a Quick-Fit adjustable buttstock assembly. This design delivers the strength and stiffness necessary for consistent accuracy shot after shot.

The adjustable buttstock allows you to quickly modify length of pull and comb height to fit your body, shooting position, and gear. Molded-in indicating marks help you return to your preferred settings. The stock also features:

• Flat Picatinny bag rider for rear monopod attachment
• Molded-in window for squeeze bag tether point
• Metal QD pocket for sling attachment

Barrel and Action

The 18-inch target barrel is cold hammer-forged from 1137 alloy steel with ultra-precise rifling. It's threaded 1/2"-28 for standard muzzle devices and includes a thread protector. The barrel is easily replaceable by a competent gunsmith using standard AR-style tools.

The action features an oversized bolt handle for positive manipulation and a unique big-gun bolt throw adjustment that allows you to switch between rimfire (1-1/2") and short-action centerfire (3") configurations—useful if you plan to convert the rifle later.

Trigger and Controls

The Ruger Marksman adjustable trigger offers a pull weight range from 2.25 to 5.0 pounds, with an adjustment wrench stored in the buttstock compartment. The AR-pattern pistol grip and 45-degree reversible safety selector feature extended reach for maximum control and compatibility with most AR-style accessories.

Handguard and Optics

The 15-inch free-float handguard is hard-anodized aluminum with M-LOK slots on all four sides, providing excellent scope clearance and easy mounting of compatible accessories. The anodized Picatinny scope base includes 30 MOA of elevation built-in, giving you extended range capability right out of the box.
