Winchester unprimed .40 S&W brass cases engineered to precise tolerances for smooth feeding and reliable chambering. 100 cases per bag, ideal for handloaders.
Winchester unprimed brass cases are engineered to exacting tolerances, ensuring the smooth feeding and positive chambering that serious reloaders demand. Whether you're a competitive shooter fine-tuning loads or a hunter preparing ammunition for the field, these cases provide the foundation for consistent, reliable ammunition.
During production, each case undergoes annealing to achieve the correct hardness. This process produces cases that hold bullets securely in place while maintaining the flexibility necessary for reliable firing. You may notice a light stain near the neck—this is a natural result of the annealing process and does not affect performance.
Because these are unprimed cases, you'll need to prepare them for loading. The case mouth should be resized, chamfered, and deburred as part of your standard reloading process. An expander ball can be used in line with your sizing die if desired. Some cases may arrive with imperfect mouths due to manufacturing or shipping—this is normal and easily corrected during your preparation process.
These cases are the choice of reloaders who understand that quality begins with quality brass.
